I live just a short walk from the station, and this place has turned out to be an absolute gem. It might look like a regular Sri Lankan store from the outside, but it’s miles ahead in both hygiene and taste. The food is wonderfully flavourful, great value for money, and the service is consistently excellent. I asked for a little extra sambar, and the team happily provided with a smile. This is definitely going to be my go to store.

They also provide a reliable catering service at competitive prices, which is a great option for functions and events. The restaurant is understandably popular, so you may need to wait in a queue during busy periods. Parking in the surrounding area can also be a little challenging. Despite these minor inconveniences, it is a wonderful dining option and a real asset for the local vegetarian community.

The best 100% vegetarian restaurant in Toongabbie! ​I have had nothing but great experiences here. It is easily the best spots in town, especially if you are looking for amazing food at the best price. The place is 100% hygienic, and the service is always top-quality. ​My absolute favorites are the Idly Sambar and the Rice Thali—getting a full Thali with 5 curries for only $14 is an unbeatable deal! highly recommend! 😘😘

The restaurant is also spotlessly clean, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply love great food, Vishnu Bhavan is a place you must visit. It's easily one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Sydney, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, wholesome, and delicious meals. I'll definitely be returning again and again!

Such amazing food! Amazing quality and taste and the prices are so reasonable. We tried a mixed curries platter (the yam one was incredible), masala dosa, mango juice and some snacks/payasam for later. We’ll be back.
