Towzen was one of those rare dining experiences that leaves you feeling both satisfied and refreshed. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with fresh, clean flavours that were simple yet incredibly comforting. We ordered the Teriyaki Don and the Green Thai Curry Ramen, and both were absolutely delicious. The teriyaki had the perfect balance of sweetness and richness, while the ramen was fragrant, warming and full of vibrant flavours without feeling heavy. The restaurant itself has such a calm, minimalist feel and is immaculately clean, creating a peaceful space to slow down and enjoy dinner. We finished with the black sesame lattes, which were every bit as memorable as the food and the perfect way to end our evening. My husband and I left already talking about when we’d come back. Beautiful food, a lovely atmosphere and genuine attention to quality in every detail. A little gem in Sydney that we’ll definitely be visiting again.

Our second time visiting this gem! We discovered this as we were walking by and wondered if it was the same ‘Towzen’ we had visited and loved in Kyoto, and it was!! Everything we had so far has been sooo amazing!! The Ramen broths are so soulful! The karage lion mane is amazing and the gyoza is yummy too! It is a vegan haven! We have been very warmly served by Roxy each time, and she is soo sweet and welcoming, we instantly feel at ease here! The service is brilliant, the place is well kept and very clean. This is our go to for any occasion in Sydney now!

I visited Towzen Sydney for my birthday with my family and had a wonderful dining experience overall. The ramen was incredibly delicious and full of flavour, while still being mild enough to enjoy comfortably. Next time, I’ll definitely try one of the spicier options. The vegan karaage, made with lion’s mane mushroom, was also a standout. I normally dislike mushrooms, but I absolutely loved it. The manager and staff were warm and friendly, and we chose to order directly through them rather than using the QR code. This meant we could ask questions and receive helpful recommendations. It would be great for the restaurant to continue actively offering diners both ordering options. The only part of the experience that could have been improved was the handling of the birthday cake. We had brought our own cake, but instead of having it plated or presented for us, we were simply given the box back with a knife. As Towzen is still a relatively new restaurant, this may be something the team is still developing, but a little more care in moments like this would make the experience feel even more welcoming and hospitable. Overall, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of the ramen menu!

The best vegan ramen restaurant in Sydney! I highly recommend the truffle ramen, fragrant and very rich broth. Price is a bit on the steep side but offset by the high quality ingredients, top notch service and beautiful, zen-like ambience! The gyoza and karaage were also very delicious. First timer here and will be a repeat customer. Thank you for the most beautiful dining experience!

From the moment you step into the restaurant, you're greeted by a wonderful atmosphere. The ambiance is warm, relaxing, and inviting, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable dining experience. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout the evening. The menu offers an excellent variety of dishes, with plenty of options to excite the palate. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food arrived remarkably quickly. During my visit, I ordered the lionsmane mushroom karaage, cold tofu with sesame dressing, okra with yuzu mayo, and their signature ramen bowl; Si Chuan Tan Tan Men. For dessert I ordered the Japanese soy mylk pudding. Every dish was exceptional. The food was beautifully prepared, showcasing how simple ingredients can be transformed into something truly memorable. Each plate was packed with flavour, thoughtfully balanced, and absolutely delicious. Without hesitation, I can say this is the best vegan restaurant I have visited in Sydney. The quality of the food, combined with the atmosphere and service, made for an outstanding dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to vegans and non-vegans alike.
