Surti House Blacktown is hands down one of the best places for authentic Gujarati food in Sydney. Every dish is packed with traditional flavours and tastes just like home-cooked food from Gujarat. The quality, freshness, and consistency of the food are outstanding. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, and everything is prepared with care and attention to detail. The service is always warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. A special mention to the owner, who is genuinely passionate about serving great food and ensuring customers have a wonderful experience. It’s rare to find such dedication and hospitality these days. If you’re looking for authentic Gujarati cuisine, delicious food, generous portions, and excellent service, Surti House Blacktown is a must-visit.

I have mixed reviews. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty; however, I can’t say it 100% brings the taste of Surat. We ordered Garlic Butter Surti Locho, Methi Gota, Bombay Vada Pav, and Kulhad Chai. I loved the Surti Locho, it was fluffy, soft, and yum. The Kulhad Chai was also good. The Methi Gota, even though tasty, lacked the authentic texture of methi gota. The Vada Pav is something I would not recommend; the pav was full of butter, and the vada lacked the Mumbaiya flavour. Overall, not a bad experience. It did fulfil my Surti/Gujarati snack craving, and I will visit again.

Amazing place for authentic Surti and Gujarati food. The taste feels just like home, especially the farsan and traditional dishes. Food is fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Portion sizes are good and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Surti-style food in Australia.

I’m originally from Surat, so finding truly authentic Surati flavours in Sydney felt like a dream — and Surati Locho House in Blacktown made that dream real. Their Surati Locho and Khaman taste exactly like home. The texture, the spices, the freshness… everything is just perfect. Every bite reminded me of the street-side flavours I grew up with. The staff are friendly, the portions are generous, and you can feel the love they put into their food. For anyone craving genuine Surati snacks, or wanting to try something special, this place is a must-visit. Truly grateful to have a little piece of Surat right here in Sydney! ❤️✨

In Sydney, I was able to find all kinds of Indian food except authentic Surati food — until I discovered Surati House! It truly fulfilled my expectations. We absolutely loved all varieties of Locho, the soft and fluffy White Dhokla, the Methi Gota (winter special), and the refreshing Kullad Chai. A perfect place for anyone craving real Surati flavours! 👌
