Service and staff very polite Vada was hot fresh and amazing Atmosphere is good and standalone restaurant but cold not cozy . Dosa was good Sambhar was average White chutney was frozen 🥶- straight out of freezer , got chunks of frozen chutney in my plate Ginger pachadi was nice 👍 Overall nice experience no complaints- but can do better No breakfast brunch as given online

A well-balanced South Indian thali with a lovely variety of dishes, each bringing its own flavour to the meal. The standout was definitely the soft chapati paired with the incredibly tasty vegetable curry—absolutely delicious. Finished off with a refreshing rose milk, which was the perfect sweet touch to complete the experience.

A pure vegetarian South Indian dining spot in Narre Warren that you’ll definitely want to come back to! We had such a satisfying and wholesome experience at Anand Bhavan. We started off refreshing with buttermilk and rose milk — the perfect way to begin a South Indian feast. The rasa vada was soft, comforting, and full of flavour. The Chef’s Special Mysore Masala Dosa was a standout — beautifully crisp on the outside with a spicy, indulgent filling inside. The paneer rava dosa was golden, crunchy, and absolutely satisfying. We also tried the pizza uttapam — a fun western twist on a South Indian classic — and the bisibelebath, which was hearty and comforting, just like a warm home-style meal. The true highlight was the Anand Bhavan Kalyana Sappadu — a wholesome traditional spread that genuinely celebrates authentic South Indian cuisine. We ended on a sweet note with pineapple kesari rava, which was nostalgic, soft, and perfectly balanced. What makes this place even better is that they prepare their dosa batter fresh in-house, offer Jain options for most dishes, and provide friendly, cooperative service. It’s pure vegetarian, has plenty of car parking, and makes for an easy, satisfying dining experience. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic South Indian flavors in Narre Warren!

I haven't heard much about Sri Ananda Bhavan in Narre Warren's vegan food but I feel like it's worth the visit. It's a South Indian vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options. The food is fresh and tasty and interesting. Pretty good value as well. I popped in by myself and got the pani puri and the plain dosa combo and took home a little coconut sweet for myself and a gulub jamon for my husband and it came to about $41. I'll definitely go back to try more. Lovely staff. Wish there were more than one vegan sweet option but 🤷‍♀️
