This is a fully women-run operation, and they absolutely ace it. Running a busy food business isn't easy, especially when the place is almost always packed. Yes, there's usually a wait but it's because people keep coming back, and it's well worth it. They serve what is, in my opinion, the most authentic Pindi chole in Australia. This place is my comfort food spot, and for good reason. Their freshly made sweets are also unique and outstanding. Bravo to the incredible women behind this business for running such a busy operation so successfully. They've earned every bit of the praise they receive.

Went to pick up a selection of mixed sweets, and I was really impressed. They have a fantastic variety of fresh Indian sweets to choose from, making it hard to decide what to buy. What I really loved was that they let customers taste the sweets before purchasing, which is a great concept and helps you choose exactly what you like. The quality of the sweets was excellent—everything tasted fresh, authentic, and was reasonably priced for the quality offered. I also needed to take the sweets interstate, and the staff did an amazing job with the packaging. They packed everything securely and carefully, giving me confidence that the sweets would arrive in perfect condition. Overall, a wonderful experience with great customer service, excellent quality, fair prices, and thoughtful attention to detail. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area and would highly recommend Puri Desi to anyone looking for fresh, delicious Indian sweets.

This place has the best mithai in Sydney! Can’t go wrong with their selection and everything on the menu is excellent. Their milk cake is a must have! If I could I’d just receive those as gifts. Speaking of which their packaging is excellent and so giftable! My only gripe is not having nut free options for the same mithais like barfi so that people with nut allergy can also enjoy these beauties!

Pure Desi Sweets & Snacks is the best place for authentic Punjabi taste. Fresh sweets, delicious snacks, and hot food are always on point. The quality and hygiene are excellent. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am going to keep as much detail as possible as a level 5 local guide. This place has a kitchen with tempting items like kulcha combinations for example, a really authentic sweet shop and some fresh Indian savouries all at one place. We stopped here unexpectedly while exploring the area. Got a warm welcome. We bought some rasgulla, masala cashew (fresh looking and great quality of cashews, best to enjoy with some drinks) and tasted some samples for their current and upcoming menu items. Jalebi- sugar made and jaggery made varieties. They are crispy, tasty and the sweetness is just on point. Very nice. I have to be honest, Harris park is all hyped up for the Jalebi, but if you wanna skip the queue, these guys made it just as good and even better with the jaggery made Jalebi. It’s better for health too. Kulfa: their upcoming item and it deserves some praise. It comes with phirni, rabdi and falooda type mix. Perfectly sweet but not too overpowering. The balance is great. Pani puri: crisp puri, really really good sweet and khatta paani and really nice aloo (feels like home made aloo) which made this the freshest tasting paani puri I ever tasted. By far the best paani. What we observed it that their items are so fresh and very clean on the palate, just like their service. Purely desi, the highlight is the paan sweet, which was my personal favourite. Definitely coming back to try more of their items.
