Excellent service at Murugan Idli. The staff were very welcoming, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout. Great hospitality along with amazing food.. A perfect spot for real South Indian food lovers!

We went for quick lunch at murugan idli absolutely stunning inside chandelier and candle lamps and jade sofas. Very nice food dosa yummy, chilli pakora , idli sambhar and can’t leave without tea. ☕️ owner was kind and smiling and attendee girl was so beautiful to help us navigate the menu. And they kindly invited us for Friday and Saturday party. 🎉 couldn’t resist the music.

Had a wonderful experience! The dosa was truly authentic—crispy on the outside and soft inside, just perfect. The vada was fresh and fluffy, paired beautifully with flavorful sambar. Also loved the paneer dish—rich, soft, and full of taste. Everything felt freshly made and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic South Indian food! 😋

What an experience in Murugan Idli!! Amazing food, Wonderful ambiance & very hospitable service ..myself, my wife ,my mother-in-law & my work mate went to the Restaurant last Sunday. To my surprise everything was just incredible. The staff being so polite and accommodating, Every item we ordered was just out of the world, we felt like we were eating in a restaurant in Chennai , India. The highlight was the weekend un-limited veg thali which was just incredible.. would love to go there again and again

Absolutely loved my visit to Murugan Idli! The food is authentically South Indian and full of flavour — especially the soft, fluffy idlis and crispy dosas with delicious chutneys and sambar. The menu has great variety, from classic idli and dosa to uttapam and tasty snacks, making it perfect for both lunch and dinner.  The vibe is lively and welcoming, with friendly staff who are happy to help and explain dishes if you’re new to South Indian cuisine. Portions are generous, and everything felt fresh and made with care. It can get busy on weekends, but it’s totally worth the wait!  Highly recommend this place if you’re craving genuine South Indian flavours in Adelaide — I’ll definitely be back to try more!
