Our second visit to Flyover did not disappoint! This contemporary Indian street food venue has a funky vibe. From the chai warming on a hot plate at the front, to its range of cocktails, entrees and dahl, this vegetarian and vegan restaurant is a gem in innner city Redfern On this visit we enjoyed paneer momos with hot honey, so tasty, well presented and set the tone for our chosen treats. We followed with the Pav’s, beautifully presented and packed with flavour explosions in each bite. We finished the meal off with black Dahl and paratha with a creamy side of ricotta. Overall a great meal, friendly service and reasonably priced. If you enjoy Indian food, drop in for a visit…your tastebuds with thank you!

Flyover Fritterie Redfern is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the vibe and ambience were warm, welcoming and full of character. A huge shoutout to Gunjan for the amazing hospitality, Mayank (Head Chef) for serving up truly authentic and delicious vegetarian Indian food, and Christina for the wonderful service throughout the evening. We ordered the Kale Papri Chaat, Saag with Parantha, and Dal every dish was packed with flavour, fresh ingredients and authentic taste. You can really tell there’s passion behind the food here. If you’re looking for authentic veg Indian food with great service and a fantastic atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

I’ve had Indian food across continents, and this place genuinely hits the spot. They’ve done an incredible job modernizing the presentation without losing the soul of the food - every dish still carries those comforting, familiar flavors that remind you of home. Skip the predictable butter chicken and naan order for once and actually explore the menu here. This is the kind of meal that stays with you long after you leave.

Had a lovely lunch here with family and absolutely loved it. Easily one of the best Indian vegetarian spots in Sydney! The dal is to die for, and the besan ladoo soft serve is such a unique treat. The paneer momos were delicious, and the chai was just perfect to go with everything. Service was exceptional — Kristina was so warm and attentive, which made the experience even better. Will definitely be coming back!

Flyover is truly one of the most delightful restaurants ever - I went last weekend for the first time for the "Mad for Madurai" set menu for Valentines Day. Firstly, the staff are wonderful - warm and knowledgeable - and to see a kitchen and dining area staffed by so many South Asian women was a joy. The food was phenomenal - the serves were generous for a set menu, and it was so great to see Tamil/South Indian food specifically being showcased. The pongal was unbelievable (super rich and creamy), the uttapam was loaded with fried garlic, onion and other toppings and the peanut chutney was incredible. Not a single dish missed the mark and I'm not exaggerating when I say the besan ice cream was so good it made me cry! (I cry about everything but weeping over ice cream is a new one, even for me.) You can tell how much love, care and passion has gone into Flyover. I wish them all the best for their continued success and look forward to eating there many more times!
